The S.E.A.R. Team trains monthly in dynamic room clearing, slow searches and range fire on advanced weapons systems. The team also maintains proficiency in hostage rescue, car, bus and other tubular assaults, sniper initiated assaults, rural field searches, urban area searches, victim rescue, hostage negotiation, k-9 searches and high risk warrant service. . The team conducts a variety of realistic scenario based exercises throughout the year. Role players are recruited to provide the team with a wide array of high risk situations to test the teams proficiency. The team often conducts live fire room clearing, live fire vehicle assaults, and live sniper fire under extreme conditions. Exercises are designed to force the team to quickly resolve situations by adapting and utilizing the teams tools and experience.
