Counterfeit Cash
Guernsey county resident was in contact with a subject on the internet who sent several hundred dollars in cash
by delivery service. The subject then requested her to wire back most of the cash via WesternUnion. The money looked
original but had the same serial numbers. The money had the security strip and images.

Cambridge Police are investigating a hit skip accident that occurred on N9 St. The suspect vehicle was traveling
the wrong way on N9 at Gomber and struck a Chevy Trailblazer causing heavy damage to both vehicles. The suspect
continued the wrong way on N9 passing Beatty Ave and striking a Ford Crown Victoria before becoming so disabled
it could not go any further. The suspect then fled on foot and was last seen at N9 and Stewart Ave.
The suspect was driving a Gold Saturn four door with dealer plates. The driver was described as a white male wearing
blue jeans and a black leather coat. If anyone has any information on the driver please contact Cambridge Police

Lotto Scam: British Gaming Commision.
The new scam is sending out checks to lottery winners with the promise of a big payout. They ask you to cash the
assistance check into your bank account and in most cases request you to send them a check to pay the taxes on
your winnings. If you received a check from a lottery you have never played DO NOT cash the check. One tip to verify
a fake check is to make a copy. The copied check will have void printed all over the check. Also cashing the check
may give criminals the ability to get your bank account number to make withdraws without your knowledge or consent.
